Hoppy 2011: The Year of the Rabbit!
In Japan instead of sending Christmas Cards, they send New Year's Cards (or Nengajyo), which are more like postcards. They generally have a picture of the zodiac sign for the upcoming year, which for this year is the rabbit. And, they are almost always cute, like this one I got from one of my former students.
