New Year's!!

For New Year's I went tagged along on the Houlahan tradition of skiing at Welch Village in Minnesota. Needless to say, a lot of fun was had!

Rachel and I got stylish new face masks...take that rosacea!!

Hayley and Evan showing their skillz...that's right I spelled it with a Z because they are just that awesome.

They even had New Year's Eve fireworks, at 6 PM for all of us who might be too pathetic to make it to midnight. We appreciated it.

As I stared out the dirty window at the fireworks, I could tell 2011 is going to be a great year.

But, we weren't done with our evening after the fireworks! Hayley typed "bars" into her GPS, we all loaded into my mom's mini-van, and we took off for an adventure. Unfortunately, the GPS took us out of town, past an energy plant, and directed us to turn into a vacant field...which didn't appear to be a bar of any sort. Fortunately, we had passed a casino on our way, so we decided that was the place to go.

Not only was the people watching a mix that can only be described as...amazing..., but they also had bowling. Since the bowling was smoke free, and had chairs we could sit in, it was a win-win.

We also got free New Year's hats! What service. I'm so lucky I got to spend New Year's with 3 of my favorite people in the whole world!

AND we won two free pizza's for being awesome at trivia!

AND, we all even managed to stay up till 12:01 to officially ring in the New Year! Happy 2011!!!
