This blog started as a way for my friends and family to follow me as I biked across the country in 2010 for the American Lung Association's Big Ride. Now that I've finished it has become a collection of random thoughts and pictures. Enjoy!

Off-Roading It
I decided to do some "mountain" biking (in Iowa, this term is used very loosely). Of course the only entrance I could find to the park on my first visit led me on to the most difficult trails they have...quite a change for this road rider. But after I got my bearings it was a ton of fun!
