Japanese Cooking
While I teach swimming, my personal swimming actually goes in streaks. I'll go a couple of times a week for awhile, and then take months off. But one of my favorite things about swimming during the day is watching TV in the locker room after I get out of the pool. Why? Because there is always a Japanese show on! So when I was watching it last week, they had on a recipe for cabbage tsukemono (a kind of pickling, but nothing like American pickles). So I went home and made it, and it was delicious! Another cooking hurdle cleared:)
