Scenic Biking at Its Finest

I went with my mom and her friend Theresa to their work conference in St. Louis. We took our bikes, which turned out to be wonderful. On our first day there we headed out searching for a trail, which led us to the River Trail and all sorts of adventure!

The trail took us exciting places, like past piles of what I think was salt, covered with rubber (you can barely see the Mississippi river between piles)...

Across the mighty Mississippi and into beautiful East St. Louis, making this a tri-state tour!

Through coal piles.  Unfortunately we forgot our haz-mat masks.

At least we saw some pretty cool graffiti!
