The street is evidently pretty famous, because everyday there are people standing at the top of it taking pictures...or maybe they're just here to see all of the foreigners. Could be either.

The Hill
Our school is located on a steep hill at the bottom of Mt. Hakodate, which is impossible to ride my three-gear bike up, but also tests the limits of my brakes on the way down. Since I of course tend to just say what I think, I was like, I wonder how far I could launch myself into the harbor if I started here and went full speed all the way down...the reality is that any day my brakes could provide me with just the opportunity. In preparation for that time, I've been working on my Flinstones style braking.
