Not only did we share the need to explore new places by bike, he is also from Yamagata, where I lived in Japan. And he has an awesome sign, which pretty much sealed the deal in the coolness factor! Good luck!

Random Meeting
I crossed paths with this guy on my bike ride home from school. His flag says he's visiting every prefecture in Japan, by mama-chari (basically a bike with no gears, that weighs a lot, and has a basket). If you think this sounds easy because Japan is small, you have no idea. The length of Japan is similar to that of the United States north to south, and 60% of the country is covered with mountains.
