We saw lots of animals...
...and fish, which Lindsey especially loves.
This little guy was thinking about doing something mischievous...
We definitely did not want that to happen.
A bamboo forest...what is this, Japan? No, it is still Texas. Amazing!!
The outback
A suspension bridge
Some statues
The Texas Ranger Musuem...
...I was only there to see the Chuck Norris exhibit.
Ate some Blue Bell Ice Cream, supposedly the best on earth. It was pretty delicious, but I haven't had all the ice cream on earth, so I can't comment on it being the actual best.
Enlightenment (on a spring of all places!)
The Starship Pegasus, which appeared to be an abandoned souvenir shop in the shape of a space ship. Em and Jim might want to keep this dandy in mind when they're house shopping.
A make your own waffle, in the shape of Texas! You can't make this stuff up!!
The X where JFK was shot. (There are actually two Xs). I thought about venturing into the street for a close up, but didn't think they would add an X in my honor when I got run over by a car.
And, this guy who was driving on a flat tire that had gotten so warped he was riding on his rim. I could tell he liked it when my mom rolled down her window and flashed her camera at him. Unfortunately for us, he was still going faster than us during our traffic jam from hell in Dallas. We traveled approximately one mile in an hour. Pretty. Awesome.
