Saving Energy

While things are still far from being back to normal in the earthquake zone, in the Tokyo area, the main effects are that a lot of things are shut off to save energy because of the Fukushima plant not running. I thought that when I came from the airport to Tokyo it seemed darker than usual, but figured I had just forgotten what it was really like. But, everywhere you go there are escalators not running, vending machines turned off, lights dimmed or off, and air conditioners not running. The news has says that if usage can be cut by 25% they won't have to do rolling power outages this summer.
