In the winter I spent almost every weekend at Omoshiroyama snowboarding. You get off the train, walk up the stairs, and are at the first lift. I have so many good memories of snowboarding and the people I met here. The year after I left they closed and haven't re-opened yet. Maybe once Rachel and I left everyone stopped coming...

The Senzan-sen, which goes between Yamagata and Sendai.
Unfortunately people have started dumping their old cars here so they don't have to pay to dispose of them.
Everything is still there from before...just waiting for people to come back.
